Jaret is one of the founding partners of Franz Hoeppner Wiens Law Office. He was born in Altona and raised in Winkler. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2005 and his Juris Doctor in 2009, both from the University of Manitoba. Jaret received his Call to the Bar of Manitoba in 2010 after completing his articles in Winkler and has worked in southern Manitoba for his entire career. Jaret maintains an active interest in many areas of law but primarily focuses his practice on real estate law, corporate and commercial law, and wills and estates. He lives in Winkler with his wife, Caitlyn, and their three children.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Ed was an officer of the RCMP. He left to attend university, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Winnipeg and graduating from the University of Manitoba law school in 1975. After receiving his Call to the Bar of Manitoba in 1976, Ed served as a Crown Attorney with Manitoba Justice in Thompson, Brandon, and Portage la Prairie until 1978, when he entered private practice. Since entering private practice, Ed has worked in Swan River, Morden, Winkler, and Winnipeg. Ed has a broad practice, including real estate law, corporate and commercial law, wills and estates, collaborative family law, and criminal law. Ed has successfully argued numerous cases in the Court of Queen’s Bench, Provincial Court, and Court of Appeal. He has also appeared in front of numerous boards and tribunals. Ed was raised on a family farm in the Clearwater district of Manitoba and currently lives in Winnipeg with his wife, Marilyn, with whom he has two grown sons.
Born and raised in the Winkler area, and with a longstanding commitment to local ministry, Johanna can relate to a wide variety of clients. She strives for workplace ethics and integrity which enhance her relationships with clients. Her goal is for excellence in her field and trustworthy interactions with all clients. Johanna’s husband Herb keeps her laughing; she’s proud of her three adult children; and her hobbies include reading, camping, and anything musical.
Originally from Altona, Michelle graduated with her Juris Doctor in 2018 from the University of Manitoba. She received her Call to the Bar in 2019. Michelle primarily practices in the areas of real estate law, corporate and commercial law, and wills and estates. Michelle looks forward to building her practice serving Winkler and the surrounding areas.
